Chatsworth is registered to care for twenty six adults over sixty five who need help with day to day life. That is help with washing and dressing, with medication, with getting about the home safely, and with meals, given in a way that keeps people doing whatever they can still do for themselves.

How we work

The care plan starts with the person, not the building. We ask what someone wants, when they want it, and how they have always done it, and we work around that. Our staff know that their job is to fit in with the residents rather than the other way round, and residents are encouraged to say when something is not right so we can change it.

Care needs change, sometimes quickly. We adapt as they do, and we will tell you honestly if we reach a point where someone needs more than a residential home can safely give.

What comes with it

  • A room you can make your own, with your own furniture and pictures
  • Meals cooked fresh every day, with dietary needs catered for
  • An activities programme run by a dedicated Activities Co-Ordinator
  • Hairdressing on site, a visiting chiropodist, annual eye tests and dental checks
  • Open visiting, at any time of day

Funding

Chatsworth is privately run and we also accept local authority payments and voucher scheme payments. We do not ask relatives for a third party top up. To talk about a place, call us on 01752 660048 or email info@chatsworthcare.co.uk.
